DoLSpro Genesis is an Electronic Management Process (EMP), which supports Supervisory Bodies with the seamless and integrated management of the entire DoLS process, from initial request for DoLS assessment through to Supervisory Body Authorisation.
This stand-alone software does not require integration with existing systems, and allows Supervisory Bodies to integrate Genesis with the Assessment Support Tools for Form 3 and Form 4.
DoLSpro Genesis allows supervisory bodies to:
Monitor Assessments.
Record cases pending and cases completed.
Allocate work to BIA and s.12 Approved Doctors.
Extract relevant Data.
Reduce paperwork.
Increase efficiency.
Decrease time.
The Genesis software is the total solution Supervisory Bodies have been waiting for. It offers a seamless flow of information in an easy to use manner. Managing Bodies will have access to the Genesis Portal which allows Form 1 to be generated by the establishment requesting the authorisation.
Genesis takes the information presented by the Managing Body, and uses the information to support Best Interest Assessors and S.12 Approved Doctors by auto-population of the DoLSpro Software for Forms 3 & 4. This allows significant saving of time.
REFERRAL STAGE
Initial Referral to Supervisory Body:
DoLS Request from Managing Authority.
Form 1 or Form 2 completed using DoLSpro Genesis MA Portal.
Information captured creates:
Waiting List
Date of referral.
Auto-completes relevant detail into
Form 3 & Form 4.
ALLOCATION STAGE
Supervisory Body allocates assessment to BIA/s.12 Doctor using DoLSpro Genesis. (email also sent notifying).
Information from Form 1 auto-populates fields in Form 3 & Form 4 reducing amount of time needed to complete assessments.
Information added to Genesis to support tracking of assessment process.
Allocated assessment taken from Waiting List and added to tracking.
ASSESSMENT STAGE
BIA/ s.12 Doctor complete assessments using DoLSpro. Send information back to SB. This format allows for auto-completion of Form 5 using information gathered from DoLSpro Assessment Support Tools*.
Genesis alerts SB when assessments are received.
*assessments can be imported if DoLSpro AST is not used.
PANEL AUTHORISATION STAGE
Supervisory Body Review Form 5 generated by information gathered from Form 3 & 4 and added information. Signed digitally.
Panel sign off the Form 5 which closes assessment in Genesis Tracking.
DoLSpro automatically generates Forms 1,3,4 and 5 as ADASS Word documents if needed.
